Evert Jan Heijnen is an experienced lawyer focusing on shipbuilding and the manufacturing industry, sectors he knows like few others, with over 20 years of experience. His emphasis is on the disputes side: contractual conflicts and liability issues that he resolves out of court or in litigation and arbitration, including at UNUM. In addition, Evert Jan has particular expertise in directors' liability and property law, built up over his long-standing insolvency practice. Evert Jan recently completed the Grotius course in Construction Law. He combines legal depth with specialist knowledge of the market in which his clients operate.
Evert Jan has been a lawyer since 1995. He has been with Brackmann since 2026.
