Stijn Boot

Stijn Boot is an environmental and planning lawyer and has established himself as an authority in the field. His practice focuses on spatial planning, permitting, and enforcement. He is also recognised as a leading specialist in the Netherlands in environmental, waste and resources law, including the circular economy. Stijn advises and litigates for businesses, including industrial and port-related companies. He also acts for government bodies in spatial planning and administrative law matters. His strength lies in untangling legal complexity and reconciling political interests with broader societal challenges.
Stijn has been a lawyer since 1999. He is the founding partner of the niche firm BHW Advocaten, which joined Brackmann in 2026.
