Brackmann expands its portfolio with shipbuilding expertise through the arrival of Evert Jan Heijnen
As of 1 July 2026, Brackmann welcomes Evert Jan Heijnen LLM. Over more than twenty years, Heijnen has built a practice in shipbuilding and other highly complex technological sectors. He also brings extensive experience in restructuring and insolvency matters within the construction and technical sectors. With his arrival, Brackmann strengthens its position in shipbuilding and manufacturing, working from the fields of procurement, construction, and environmental and planning law.
Brackmann to occupy floor 22 of First Rotterdam
As of 1 May 2026, Brackmann will be based on floor 22 of First Rotterdam, Weena 798A in Rotterdam. The move from the Millenniumtoren marks the growth the firm has achieved over recent years and creates the space for its future ambitions.
Review of the seminar on special sector companies
Last week, Brackmann hosted an inspiring seminar on procurement law for the special sectors, with a focus on Part 3 of the Public Procurement Act. Pieter Smid, Sven Saric, and Roel Snel guided the participants through the scope of this part of the Act and the flexibility it offers in procurement.
